POL ARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug, (one blade is wider than the other). T o
reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized
outlet only one way . If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to
modify the plug in any way .
ELECTRICA L CORD
If the electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your
appliance may not operate properly . It should be operated on a
separate electrical circuit from other appliances.

: If the po wer supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by

GET TING ST ARTED
1.
Remove all packing material and any stickers.
2.
Remove and save literature

Wipe the base and burners with a damp soft cloth or sponge and
wipe dry .
5.
Select a location on a flat smooth surface where this unit is to be
used allowing enough space (we suggest 4 to 6 inches) from the
appliance and the wall or any cabinets to allo w heat to flow without
damage to cabinets and walls.
6.
Unwind the cord and plug it into a standard electrical outlet.

Before first use, turn the tempera ture control knob(s) on burner(s)
to high (6) and allow the burner(s) to run for 5 minutes to burn
off any residue resulting from the manufacturing process
1.
Plug unit into an electrical outlet. Select the burner you would like to use.
2.
T urn the temperature control knob beside the heating element to be
used to select the desired heat setting. The on indicator light next
to the temperature control knob will be illuminated until the selected
temperature has been reached and then will cyc le on and off to
indicate the burner is operating.

Place a saucepan or skillet designed to be used on an electric range
on the preheated burner .
For best results :
Use a s aucepa n or skillet a s clos e to the size of t he
burner a s pos sible. Co ok ware t hat is to o small or to o large will no t
produ ce accept able c ook ing result s.
Important
: Use pot holders whenever touching or moving cookware on
the burners.
Caution: Do not leave food unattended.
4. When c ook ing is complet ed, turn t he temper ature c ont rol k nob to
