outlet, con sult an electrician for r eplacemen t
of the obsolete ou tlet.
10) P rotect the power co rd fro m being walked on
or pinc hed particularly at plugs, co nv enience
receptacles, an d the point where they exit
from the a pparat us.
11) Only u se attachmen ts/accessories specified by
the manufact urer .
12) U se only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket,
or table specified by the man ufacturer , or sold
with the appa ratus. W hen a cart is used, use

13) U nplug this a ppara tus during ligh tning storms
or when unused fo r long periods of time.
14) Ref er all ser vicing to qualified ser vice
personnel. Servicing is required when the
appa ratus h as been damaged in an y way , such
as power -sup ply cor d or plug i s damaged,
liquid has been spilled or ob jects have fallen

Precautions
T o disconnect the A C adapto r , pull it out b y the
plug, not the co rd.
Since a stro ng magnet is used for the speaker ,
keep credit car ds using magnetic coding o r
spring-wo und watc hes, CR T -based TVs, or
pro jectors, etc., awa y from the uni t to preven t
possible damage fr om the magnet.
Do not leave the uni t in a location near a hea t
source such as a radia tor o r aird uct, or in a
place subject to direct sunlight, ex cessive du st,
mechanical vibra tion, or shock.
Allow adequat e air circulation t o preven t
internal hea t build-up . Do not place the unit o n
a surface (a rug, a blanket, etc.) or near
materials (a curtain) which might block the
ventila tion holes.
Should an y solid object or liquid fall in to the
unit, unp lug the unit a nd have i t checked b y
qualified personnel before o perating it an y
further .
Do not handle the unit wi th wet hands.
Do not place the unit a nywhere near wa ter .
NO TES ON LITHIUM BA TTERY
W ipe the batt er y with a dry cloth to assure a
good contact.
Be sure to observe the correct polarity when
installing the batt er y .
Do not hold the ba ttery with metallic twee zers,
otherwise a short-circuit may occur .
