How to wire this timer.

1) Timer replaces single pole switch.

2) Switch has two wires plus ground wire.

3) Connect ground wire to timer green wire.

4) Connect other two switch wires to timer red wire and timer black

wire, choose either one for now.

5) In back of electric box are white wires twisted together and

covered with wire nut. Connect timer white wire to these wires.

6) If box does not have white wires described in step 5, then

connect timer white wire to bare ground wire.

7) Turn power on. Move slide switch to ON.

8) If light turns ON, then timer is wired correctly.

9) If lights do not turn ON, then reverse timer red wire and timer

black wire.

'Timer' for timed

operation

Move switch to ON or OFF to

operate timer as ordinary switch
